    The beach view from my room was amazing. The staff were kind and attentive, ensuring my stay was comfortable. The breakfast options for vegetarians were limited, which could be improved.     Definitely a beachfront hotel as it is just a few steps away from our room. Never a problem to get the beach loungers (due to low season). Breakfast is good with different varieties.

    Internet should be free since this is a 5 star hotel. You can find lots of guests staying at the business centre with their laptops or IPhones since there is free WI-FI. This is absolutely not relaxing and comfortable during the holiday as it's supposed to be. Besides, when we stayed here in 2009 there was free shuttle bus to Patong at certain hours. This time I was disappointed to know that hotel is charging a round trip fare of min. 1200 baht for 2 persons to Patong.

    Cutting through the noise

    This beachfront gem shines with beautifully maintained rooms and attentive service. Enjoyed the sea view and direct beach access. Breakfast was good, though a bit more variety would enhance it. The location is ideal, just a stroll to local restaurants. Some pool areas need better upkeep, as they can become crowded.

    The location as well as the facilities offered by the hotel.

    On our first of 3 nights, we were given a garden-level room (#167) which turned out to be disastrous because of the high humidity level in the room causing the floor to be wet and the bedsheets to be humid and smelly. We were told to keep the A/C at 20C and that the humidity would go away. On the flip side of this, the room was very cold. We were given a new room the day after after our asking, not from the hotel own initiative. We got # 242 one floor above #167 and all was ok for the rest of our stay. Another shortcoming is the service and quality of the waiting staff at the Casurina beach restaurant where we went on our first night. My advice to all future dwellers at Dusit Laguna: Avoid the ground level rooms.

    Very friendly staff, very professional.

    Maybe a little bit "tired" and needs upgrade. Beach Bar & Restaurant closed and also the Thai Restuarant closed for renovation but we only found out about this when we arrived at the hotel. Should be notified on the website beforehand because this can impact whether we choose the hotel or not.
